I started diving years ago but only occasionally, as my
main hobby from 20 up to 49 years old was sidecar racing but, in 1994 I made the decision to become a
Padi instructor and started a club for any diver. We now
include Bs-ac S.a.a. Naui and Padi in our members.
In late 2008 The club joined the SAA and I didn't renew
my Padi membership and became an Open Water instructor with the SAA. All courses
now are SAA and run within the club.
A couple of years ago I started researching into where a
lot of the diving kit comes from and placed a few sample orders with the idea of
offering my students a more economical way of building up their diving
equipment. This worked so well that it has grown to be a full
time business and I can avoid being a wage slave.
If you are interested in joining a non profit club,
learning to dive or just want some sensibly priced kit then give me a call or e-mail. I
will be glad to hear from you.
Nowadays I don't dive as much as I used to. Instead we
get away in our motorhome as much as we can. We have been motorhoming a few
years but in 2012 decided on a new Bailey 745, a little home from home so it has
to be used.
Don't forget to add me to your favourites.
