Underwater the light was very bright, I could see further through the dark water in Scotland. It was a
better torch than my dive buddies had. I have not needed to charge it up yet. It was great, I was impressed. Will it work next year? The instructions say to charge up and use the torch once every 3 months, If I do what it says it should be still working next year. I have not yet needed to charge the torch's battery so I can't tell you yet.. Anyway it is a good torch and I like it, I just hope it lasts for 10 years as my old Kowalski torch did.
It seems it would be better for the torch's Lithium battery if it was used and run down and charged up regularly. It will not overheat out of water it says. I was wondering if I could fit it to my bike and use it as a bike light. I feel I should create opportunities to use the light regularly because just SCUBA diving one week a year won't be enough.

I have been testing one of the 3WS torches this year and find it almost powerful enough for use as a main torch and amazingly a single set of batteries lasted all summer plus a fortnights holiday and  still going strong.

Dependent on batteries an amazing 150 lumens is possible with this torch.
